Pink Grapefruit Set by Rose Kasallis

Thursday September 4th, 2014 at 1PM

This is a perfect class for a beginning beader, but fun enough to satisfy any novice. This pattern is for an entire ensemble, necklace bracelet, and earrings. There are lots of color combinations to choose from, spring pastels to fall colors.... Classes at Bead Haven are always free with the purchase for the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The estimated cost to make with pink grapefruit set (necklace, bracelet, earrings) is $35 to $55. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, fireline, and scissors and/or thread burner.

Mirror Mirror Pendant by Gail Damm

Friday September 5th, 2014 at 1PM

Who's the fairest of them all? Come join us to make this focal pendant fit for Queen. Classes at Bead Haven are free with the purchase of the material for the project on the day of the class. The cost to make this pendant is approximately $35 to $40 (for the pendant only). The tools that you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, Fireline, and scissors or thread burner. There will be plenty of time in class to finish the pendant. If you will be adding dangles and ornamentation, you will need your chain nose and round nose pliers, as well as cutters. If you don't have them, you can borrow from the store to help complete your project.

Open Class Day

Thursday September 11th, 2014 at 1PM

Open Class Day is open to all beaders who have taken a class at with us but were not able to complete the project and needs help finishing, starting a past project but can't remember how to start, etc. etc. On this day you can also "catch" up on a class that you wanted to take but may have missed. Just call or come in advance so we can arrange that and prepare the patterns and supplies (to make sure they are available. We welcome you to come in anytime between 1:00 until closing at 6:00 and you will have Cary's undivided attention! Thanks so much.

Secret Garden Bracelet by Rose Kasallis

Friday September 12th, 2014 at 1PM

Our classes are free with the purchase of materials for the class project on the day of the class. You are more than welcome to come stop by prior to class to choose your beads. We will put them on hold until the day of the class. The supplies for "Secret Garden" will be approximately $50 to $65 depending on the beads you select. There will be "homework" for this class. So you will need to choose and pick up a portion of the materials a week or so in advance of the class date. Tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, fireline or thread of choice, and scissors or a thread zapper.

The estimated cost to make this wrap bracelet is $30 to $40 depending on the bead you choose. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, size 10 beading needle, 8 lb. fireline and scissors and/or thread burner.

A Must Have Bracelet by Rose Kasallis

Classes at Bead Haven are free with the purchase of the supplies to make the project on the day of the class. The approximate cost to make this A Must Have will be $35 to $40. There are two versions of this bracelet. If you stop by the store we do have the 2nd version on display. You can choose either version for the class. The tools required for this class are the basics: a bead mat, beading needle, fireline or thread of choice, and scissors.

Playful Knots by Rose Kasallis

In this class we will be making a basic beaded macrame Bohemian style wrap bracelet, made with flowers and all sorts of magical beads. Classes at Bead Haven are free with the purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The estimated cost to make this macrame bracelet with be $20 to $30 depending on the beads you choose. Tools that are required and you may bring to class are: macrame board or a "hard" surface board to use to clamp your macrame cord to, heavy duty T pin or binder clip if you have one, scissors, and a fast drying glue such as super glue. If you have a special button you would like to use as a closure bring that as well. Otherwise we have lots to choose from.

Another "show stopper" created by Rose......a versatile pendant to be used as a pendant, brooch, or bracelet. Classes at Bead Haven are free with the purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The estimated cost to make the Rebirth Pendant is $30 to $80 depending how extensive you are going to go in making a neckpiece and/or in addition to matching cuff bracelet.
