We are excited to share with you the Lentille Bracelet by the Bead Artist, Adele Kimpell, who has so graciously allowed us to teach her project. It is an awesome bracelet, we love the simple style and thought you all would too. There will be a pattern fee for this class in additon to the supplies cost about $25 depending on the beads you choose. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, fireline, and scissors and/or a thread zapper.

European Byzantine Chainmalle Bracelet by Cary

Classes at Bead Haven are always free with the purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The approximate cost to make this bracelet ranges from $40 to $110, depending if you choose base metal rings or sterling silver jump rings. A $40 nonrefundable will deposit will be required if you choose the sterling silver. The $40 will be applied toward the cost of the class supplies on the day of the class. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: two pair of pliers, preferably chain nose. Bring whatever type you have with you to class.

Open Class Day is open to all beaders who have taken a class at with us but were not able to complete the project and needs help finishing, starting a past project but can't remember how to start, etc. etc. On this day you can also "catch" up on a class that you wanted to take but may have missed. Just call or come in advance so we can arrange that and prepare the patterns and supplies (to make sure they are available. We welcome you to come in anytime between 1:00 until closing at 6:00 and you will have Cary's undivided attention! Thanks so much.

You would have enough beads to make 2 or 3 pair. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, fireline, and scissors and/or a thread burner.

"Double" Viking Knit

March 26th, 2015 at 1PM

In this class you will learn a basic "double" viking knit. Stop in the store to see a sample of the bracelet. The cost of the class is approximately $35 which does include the draw plate. If you have your own, you are more that welcome to bring it and use it for class. Tools required: bead mat, wire cutters, chain nose plier, draw plate (for sale at Bead Haven).

Forget Me Not by Rose Kasallis

April 10th, 2015 at 1PM

Classes at Bead Haven are always free with the purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The estimated cost to make the Forget Me Knot Flower is $25 to $50 depending on how many you make. One flower set atop a filigree piece is an option or you can make several to make into a bracelet or a bolder looking necklace. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, fireline, scissors and/or a thread burner. If you have chain nose and round nose pliers bring them as well. If not you can always borrow the store tools.

Earring Party

April 17th, 2015 at 1PM

Come join us and twist up a pair of earrings using beautiful hand painted lucite artbeads made by Heather French from Vintage Meadow Artworks. Or you can choose from a huge selection of other beads in the store as well. The estimated cost to make a pair of earring using the lucite artbead is $30, depending on the findings and other beads you may use. If you choose other beads/crystals besides the artbeads the cost could be from $10 to $15 depending on what you choose. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: a bead mat, wire cutter, chain nose and round nose pliers. If you do not have the tools you can borrow the store tools. They are available at Bead Haven for purchase as well.
