Open Class Day

Friday August 28th, 2015 at 1PM

Open Class day is open to all beaders who have taken a class with us, but were unable to complete the project in class, and needs additional help finishing. Or you may need help starting a project that you have forgotten how to get started. Open Class day is a great time to catch up on a class that you wanted to take but may have missed it on the day it was taught. We just ask that you to call us or come in, in advance, to arrange this project so that we can prepare the supplies and patterns in advance. We welcome you to come in for class anytime between 1:00 and 6:00, when you will have Carys undivided attention! Thank you so much.

The Donned Countess by Grace Nehls

Classes at Bead Haven are always free with the purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The estimated cost to make the focal for the Donned Countess is $25. It would be an additional $5 to $10 to make the neckpiece. You will have much of the supplies from creating the focal piece.

Another fun design by Adele Kimpell that she has so graciously allowed us to teach. Come join in and make this unique and edgy bracelet. Classes at Bead Haven are always free with the purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The estimated cost to make Rose of Thorns will be $30 to $40 depending on the beads you choose. The estimated cost is with the pattern fee included. The estimated cost to make the Stary Night is $45 to $65 depending on the beads/Swarovski crystals you choose to make the bracelet. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, 8 lb. Fireline, scissors and/or a thread burner.

Mirror Mirror Pendant by Gail Damm

September 11th, 2015 at 1AM

Who's the fairest of them all? Come join us to make this focal pendant fit for Queen. Classes at Bead Haven are free with the purchase of the material for the project on the day of the class. The cost to make this pendant is approximately $35 to $40 (for the pendant only). The tools that you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, Fireline, and scissors or thread burner. There will be plenty of time in class to finish the pendant. If you will be adding dangles and ornamentation, you will need your chain nose and round nose pliers, as well as cutters. If you don't have them, you can borrow from the store to help complete your project.

Fairy Enchantment by Rose Kasallis

Classes at Bead Haven are always free with purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. The estimated cost to make the Fairy Enchantment bracelet will be $50 to $150, depending on the "flowers" you choose. We have the hand painted flowers by Heather French, Vintage Meadow Artworks, available for this class. The tools required are as follows: bead mat, beading needle, fireline or thread of choice, and scissors.

Three's A Charm by Rose Kasallis

September 17th, 2015 at 1PM

She has done it again....If you want to soften the look of the bold Euro leather....this is the bracelet. If you love sparkles, flowers, dangles, and all the other touches that are distinctly Rosies's "trademark", you will love this piece. Our classes are free with the purchase of materials for the class project on the day of the class. You are more than welcome to pick out the materials prior to class day. We will be happy to hold them for you. The supplies for "Three's A Charm" will be approximately $45 to $60 depending on the findings and beads/crystals you select. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle (10 & 11/12), fireline or thread of choice, thread zapper or scissors, and some quick drying glue. If you have any matching cording at home, feel free to bring it in to match up to your piece (for the dangles and embellishments).

Secret Garden Bracelet by Rose Kasallis

September 18th, 2015 at 1PM

Our classes are free with the purchase of materials for the class project on the day of the class. You are more than welcome to come stop by prior to class to choose your beads. We will put them on hold until the day of the class. The supplies for "Secret Garden" will be approximately $50 to $65 depending on the beads you select. There will be "homework" for this class. So you will need to choose and pick up a portion of the materials a week or so in advance of the class date. Tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, fireline or thread of choice, and scissors or a thread zapper.

Reflections - Basic Knotting Designed by Kim G.

The estimated cost to make this knotted bracelet is $25 to $45 depending on the beads you choose and the length of the bracelet/necklace. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: a bead mat or beading surface and a fast drying glue such as super glue.

Lentille Bracelet by Adele Kimpell

We are excited to share with you the Lentille Bracelet by the Bead Artist, Adele Kimpell, who has so graciously allowed us to teach her project. It is an awesome bracelet, we love the simple style and thought you all would too. There will be a pattern fee for this class in additon to the supplies cost about $25 depending on the beads you choose. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: bead mat, beading needle, fireline, and scissors and/or a thread zapper.

Victorian Twin by Adele Kimpell

September 25th, 2015 at 1PM

Another pretty bracelet project by our friend Adele. And remember pictures never do it justice.... Classes at Bead Haven are always free with the purchase of the materials to complete the project on the day of the class. As always there is an additional pattern fee for patterns by Adele. The estimated cost to make the Victorian Twin bracelet will be $35 to $60 depending on the beads you choose to embelish the top of this bracelet. We used Swarovski bicone crystals in our sample. The tools you will need and may bring to class are: a bead mat, beading needle, fireline, and scissors and/or a thread burner.
